I am super excited to share my experiences with you and I pray that while reading them you will be blessed and encouraged by the testimonies and stories. God is preparing and blessing us here at Star of Hope and we have kicked off the New Year with a new season of life and beginnings. I have the awesome privilege of working for two programs called New Life and Genesis! Both programs provide a nurturing and stable environment devoted to meeting the needs of pregnant women and young women between 18-24 years old who have aged out of foster care and are experiencing homelessness.
New Life and Genesis are amazing programs with great opportunities for transitioning adults who have found themselves with nowhere to live get the help they need in order to become self-sufficient through the word of Christ, education, service, mentorship and spiritual guidance.
Our programs are growing with new mothers, pregnancy woes and transitioning adults. As I look toward the future, I can’t help but become overwhelmed with the huge task that is ever before me. That is why I must stay centered in Christ and in constant fellowship and prayer while working with these young ladies.
My prayer this year is that New Life and Genesis will touch the lives and effect true life change of each individual that will transition through the programs. My prayer is that the Lord will continue to prepare our hearts and minds to serve and be a living demonstration of His grace and mercy toward these young women. Finally, I pray that the Lord will prepare the hearts of each young lady who will come through the doors of Star of Hope's Transitional Living Center and give them hope in Jesus Christ.
I confidently look forward with expectancy of what God will do with these programs and how He will work in each of the new mothers and young women who are transitioning into adulthood. Will you commit to praying for us this year?
Until next time,
