First Time Volunteer

Rahel - Star of Hope Mission VolunteerI just started a new venture by inviting my friends to volunteer with me and Star of Hope's Transitional Living Center was our first event. We were invited to work in their kitchen and right away all 8 of us had chores of service which made the experience so fulfilling. My friends and I were serving, prepping meals, washing dishes and trays, sweeping, restocking, folding laundry, and cleaning up within a few hours which seriously flew by.

While there we were able to speak with the clients of Star of Hope and work alongside the women who lived there as well as interact with some of their children. I saw nothing but smiles on the children's faces which made me light up knowing that they were at a place they felt comfortable.

I highly recommend and encourage others to volunteer with Star of Hope because not only are you serving a non-profit but you see the community of people you directly effect, which is inspiring. With that said, I also made a donation on behalf of my group because I support Star of Hope and their mission!

David and Tina, thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with Star of Hope Mission!
God has faithfully provided all the needed volunteers for Thanksgiving and Christmas meals. However, we serve 3 meals a day, 365 days a year! So there is a great need for volunteers during those times.
For all volunteer interest, please fill out our Volunteer Interest Form here >>>
