Paul Gainor “grew up poor.” He remembers the one time someone gave him pizza when he was a child. It was special to him.
Now, he and his wife Debbie own Pizza Zone. When he read about the ‘Slice of Hope’ campaign to donate pizzas to homeless shelters around the country, he knew he wanted to do that for Star of Hope.
So they cooked up 100 pizzas and came with their staff to serve the pizzas to the children and guests staying here. ‘Zoni-Pepperoni’, their mascot, came with them.
“We just wanted to give the kids a fun day,” Paul said, adding,
“If everybody helps out a little bit, the world will be a better place.”
Thank you Paul & Debbie, and Pizza Zone!
