As the Associate Director of Trees of Hope, I have been fortunate to split my time between Trees of Hope and Star of Hope's Development office this summer. Trees of Hope is a nonprofit exclusively benefiting Star of Hope through its Holiday Gala and Guild activities.
Star of Hope’s administrative needs are great – with thousands of people to manage including clients, volunteers and staff. It has been a joy to use my strengths to benefit Star of Hope by calling donors, writing thank you notes, and assisting with the Haute for Hope Style Show. This behind the scenes work is critical to the success of Star of Hope.
My favorite part of volunteering this summer has been getting to know the staff at Star of Hope. Everyone has been welcoming, encouraging, and gone above and beyond to make sure I have everything I need to be successful as a volunteer.
If you are looking for ways to get more involved with Star of Hope, consider volunteering in the Administrative Offices. You won’t regret it!
