With the annual Star of Hope banquet just a few short months away, I’m reminded of just how important our work is. For that one night we all gather together to enjoy an inspiring and informative time as we focus on the homeless men, women and children of Houston we serve daily. We dedicate the evening to ending their homelessness and helping them become productive members of our society. Star of Hope works to end homelessness, one life, one family at a time, by helping those who come our way through their crisis and onward toward successful, independent living. Star of Hope, and all those we serve, would not be able to serve as God intended without your support and prayers.
Thank you to all who attended last year, and if you were one of our friends who was not able to be at the 2016 banquet, we missed you and hope you can be with us in 2017! Please mark your calendars now, and join us February 13 as we celebrate our honorees Stephanie and Frank Tsuru with the Heart of Hope Award and Melody and Charles Miles with the Bush Points of Light Award. Also, returning by popular demand, special musical performance by Michael W. Smith! Hope to see you there!
