Tomorrow is Christmas Eve ... such a special day for all of us! But it is also the day Mary and Joseph found themselves with no place to go for the night ... homeless. This has special significance here at Star of Hope, as we will care for more than a thousand men, women and children who also would have no place else to lay their heads tonight, but for the Star of Hope.
Just as on that first Christmas Eve, when the despair of the evening turned into amazing joy and HOPE for all the world, through the birth of God’s only Son, Jesus Christ ... tonight Star of Hope’s facilities will be here, thanks to supporters like you, to provide the joy and peace that only God can give. Pray with us that those here tonight will feel God’s presence in their crisis, and will choose to start a new life ... the life that God has planned for them!
May God fill your own home this Christmas with His peace, joy and the celebration of His greatest gift to all of us, His Son, Jesus Christ! Merry Christmas to you from the Star of Hope!
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. -John 3:16
