Earlier this year Star of Hope Mission relaunched our Love-in-Action Van Outreach ministry. Every day, our Love-in-Action Van goes out to those on the streets around downtown who are alone and who feel no one cares about them. Our goal through this very important ministry is to share the love of Christ as we offer a helping hand to each person we encounter.
Kenneth Eatkins serves as the driver of our Love-in Action Van and as a case manager serving street homeless individuals. Kenneth ministers to their physical and spiritual needs with the love of Christ, and as a result every day we see miracles in the lives of these broken men and women!
In Kenneth's own words he shares the stories of two individuals who have gone from living on the streets for many years to achieving independent living through Star of Hope’s New Haven program, which provides housing and case management for single men and women suffering from mental illness.
I hope you are blessed by hearing how God is changing lives through Star of Hope’s Love-in-Action Van ministry. Please keep Kenneth and all of our Star of Hope Staff in your prayers as we serve Houston's homeless in Jesus' name!
