In the midst of the political uncertainty, violence and stress in the global financial markets we have witnessed recently, it is not uncommon to feel helpless and fearful of how it will impact us. During these times it is a comfort to know that God is in control of our lives, and that His economy is different than man’s economy.
What then should we do when all around us are messages of global crisis? Do the most basic thing God has asked us to do … give to those in need!
We still have people in our city who are homeless and destitute…and need our help. God’s word commands us in Matthew 25:35 to one of the most fundamental, human things we can do for someone else. And that is to take care of our homeless and hungry neighbors... feed, shelter, clothe them, and help them back on their feet again: “For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; ...” NASB.
Please help the Star of Hope help our neighbors with your gift today!
