You may ask the question, how do homeless service providers bring hope to over 6000 unsheltered homeless on the streets of Houston?
We have found an answer ... during our 2nd Annual Takin' Hope to the Streets event we are partnering with T.H.U.G Ministry and Twentyfour4Twenty to take food, clothing, water and the HOPE of Jesus Christ to those who are feeling hopeless.
Last year 70+ volunteers blanketed the area of Houston where the homeless congregate. We prayed, encouraged, provided food, water and even had some choose shelter. This year we want to gather 100+ volunteers, staff, and supporters to do the same.
On Friday, October 17 join us as we take HOPE to the streets! Help us touch one life with the good news of Jesus Christ. With your support we can take HOPE to hundreds of men, women and teens who live on the streets Houston.
Romans 15:14 says, "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope."
I can remember a time in my life when I felt hopeless.....shaken by discouraging news, uncertain about important family matters or just having an overwhelming feeling of hopelessness. But, because God's grace and God's people I was able to see HOPE again! There is power in HOPE!
As we prepare for the 2nd Annual Takin' Hope to the Streets we ask that you stand with us in being a light of HOPE.
