God has blessed us with a new year full of good things! In less than three weeks Star of Hope will begin celebrating its 110th anniversary at our Annual Banquet scheduled for Monday, February 13 at the Hilton Americas Hotel. And, back by popular demand, Michael W. Smith will give a special performance that evening!
At the Banquet we will pay tribute to our rich and blessed history and share exciting plans for the future of Star of Hope. We will also honor four faithful supporters who have been steadfast in their commitment to serve Star of Hope - Stephanie and Frank Tsuru who will receive the Heart of Hope Award and Melody and Charles Miles who will receive the George and Barbara Bush Points of Light Award. And of course, the highlight of the evening will be testimonies from our clients!
I would like to thank our Honorary Chairs Yvonne and Walter Johnson and our Host Committee Chairs Kay and Joe Sleeth for their steadfast support of Star of Hope and this year’s event.
Star of Hope has so much to be thankful for, in particular that our clients all have a new opportunity for a joyful life. Thanks to our donors, volunteers, churches and other supporters, we have grown to serve more homeless individuals and families in our city. God has blessed and grown this amazing ministry for 110 years now, and building on those strong roots, we pray God will continue to bless Star of Hope and those we serve for many years to come!
We look forward to sharing all of this and more with you on February 13! There is still time to register to attend. I hope you are able to join us for a wonderful evening. Thank you for all that you do to help Star of Hope!
